TOUR OF BRITAIN UPDATE from the SCT
The Tour of Britain is coming to the valley. Let’s show the very best of Stow and Heriot and make our visitors welcome!
LET’S MAKE OUR MARK AND WELCOME THIS WORLD FAMOUS EVENT BY DECORATING THE OUTSIDE OF YOUR HOUSE AND GARDEN – ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE ON THE MAIN ROAD! USE OLD BIKES, BIKE WHEELS, FLAGS – GO FOR IT!
As well as this, some of our community groups have come together to do their bit to put Stow on the map as the Tour of Britain speeds through Heriot, down the A7, through Stow and on towards Lauder on Saturday 11 September. We are working towards making it a day to remember for us all! Here’s the link to the Tour of Britain website that will give you more details of timings (we’re Stage 7).
