During a visit to the play park today, I spotted an ENORMOUS batch of frog spawn on the ground near the sports changing rooms. No doubt the recent wet weather left a large puddle which is now evaporating, leaving the jelly mass in peril!
If anyone with a bucket is up for a rescue mission to move the amphibious offspring to the river or a pond, we may just save a few slug munching critters.
