NEW HERITAGE TOUR OF STOW LAUNCHES. Gala Water History and Heritage Association have produced a new history tour of Stow looking at the village’s many legends and rich medieval history. Working with the Scottish Borders Walking Festival, the tour will launch on Friday 10 September and will take approximately 2.5 hours. Further information is available on the Walking Festival website or bookable through Eventbrite at £8.50 per person. The tour will hopefully run again in the future, if you are not able to make this first date!
On Sunday 12 September another walk will be starting off in Stow. The Gala Water Valley walk is a nine-hour trip with spectacular views of our surrounding countryside and will take around 7 hours to complete. Also part of the Scottish Borders Walking Festival, tickets cost £8.50 and are available here.
