The Coat of Hopes arrives in the valley this week. Created by artist Barbara Keal, this patchwork coat was worn by hundreds of people on a 900km walk from Newhaven in southern England to Glasgow in advance of the COP26 UN climate summit in Glasgow. The coat’s journey continues, raising awareness of the climate emergency and offering hope for the future – arriving in the Gala Water Valley and on display in the Station House from 11.30am on Saturday 2 September. All welcome.
