GREEN WOODWORKING DAYS AT WOOPLAW.
Stow and Fountainhall folk will all be very familiar with Wooplaw – the first community woodland in the UK set up by Tim Steed in 1987. A beautiful place to visit, it also relies on the hard work and funding from volunteers. There’s a range of events all year round, including woodcraft skills.
Come and have a try at green woodworking, open to everyone – we will be starting small with some spoon carving and leading up to bigger things in the future.
Children welcome but must be accompanied by an Adult.
Meet at Wooplaw Community Woodland, Axe Head car park at 1000 on Saturday August 28 or 25 September.
The Wooplaw Community Woodland AGM is also taking place in August – on Saturday 20th at 10.00am.
